We now live in a global economy and marketplace.
The influence of global economy and marketplace has never been greater than now.
In the advent of the collapses of giant corporations due to systematic and systemic illegal,
immoral and unbiblical business practices and leadership, the need for the gospel
and Christ in the global marketplace has never been greater.
The church has become isolated from the marketplace even though Christ never
isolated himself from it. Christ-Life Church would like to seize an opportunity
to influence the marketplace for, in and through Christ. Christ-Life Church is
uniquely prepared and positioned to serve the marketplace.
Its leaders have significant experience in the marketplace ministry and
feel the burden of bringing the church into the marketplace and bringing the
marketplace into the church. It is remarkable that less than 5 per cent of
business and professional community in America is considered evangelical
Christians in a nation where approximately 30 per cent of its entire
population is considered to be evangelical Christians.
That is fewer evangelical Christians proportionately than the percentage
of evangelical Christians in other counties, except for the die-hard Muslim
and a few Western European countries and Japan.
Christ-Life Church believes
that the global marketplace is the most significant and urgent mission field.
Christ-Life Church also believes that access to the marketplace leads to access
to even the most closed nations in the world. While we will participate in the
traditional foreign missions through other mission organizations,
Christ-Life Church will primarily pursue God's call into
a "final frontier" which we know as the marketplace.
