Train parents to regularly read the Scripture and engage in discussions with children about the person of Christ
Train teachers to focus on teaching children of the person of Christ
Train children so that the person of Christ comes alive in their hearts
Train parents to reinforce the image of Christ in their lives so that Christ-life may be modeled before children
Explanation: CLC believes that children of this age group have the greatest ability to appreciate, learn and retain what they encounter. CLC will focus on delivering the truths and redemptive story of the Scripture to children and help them retain what they learn through catechism and story-telling. CLC believes that it is most important to teach them about the person of Christ in depth so they will learn to develop a deep sense of the presence of Christ their lives. It is also important for parents and teachers to exhibit Christ-life in them consistent with their teaching.
